Hello and thank you for your interest. I am a Columbia University trained MD PhD and a Yale trained board certified adult psychiatrist. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, unusual perceptions and distressful voice hearing. My approach to psychiatric care and psychotherapy is open-minded, collaborative and evidenced-based. I have a breadth of experience in psychopharmacology and in genetic testing to optimize treatment decisions. I am a proponent of alternative medicine and I encourage clients to include exercise, natural foods, meditation and spiritual practice in their treatment and recovery.
